  I went into Mattress by Appointment to get an inexpensive firm bed because I was going to have back surgery soon and I wanted to make sure I had a firm bed to come back to after my operation. Anthony had a sale on a few different queen size beds and I found one that I liked and Anthony delivered to me (free of charge) to my home in Torrington. After a few days the bed wasn't feeling as firm as I thought it did originally so I went back to Anthony and bought a box spring. Anthony delivered the box spring (free of charge). Another few days went by and the bed still wasn't feeling very firm. We went back to Anthony and he was willing to take back the bed and exchange it for a MUCH nicer bed and only charged us a small amount for the upgrade because of the trouble we had. He delivered that bed (free of charge) and took back the other bed. We were very happy and a bit surprised by how accommodating Anthony was. The final bed we settled one was much more expensive than Anthony sold it to us for. He said he wanted to take care of the issue for us... To repay him I made him a tray of lasagna.... Thank you Anthony

  I met with Anthony and I can say he knows his stuff. I'd recommend Anthony to anyone who is sick of shopping the big box stores. Nice to get back to the personal touch. Thanks Anthony

  We needed a mattress badly so went to this store with my partner and we were confused from the start. The open sign was lit and there was nobody at the establishment atnoon on a weekday with a little paper sign that said "I am nearby, please call me". Called the number and got no answer. The google listing says open 24 hours and it's closed every time I drive by. I've since read the other google reviews and I agree with the other person about parking...it's not an easily accessible area, especially with the recent snowstorms. I did a google search on the Mattress By Appointment name and WHOA. don't think I've ever read such negative things about a business! I will definitely not be going here. Do your homework people!
